Habitat for Humanity and Adopt-a-Family

In December, a group of more than 20 students, faculty and staff came together to help work on the Habitat for Humanity house.
The MBA program also adopted the Desert Garden Elementary School families and children from Project Shoestring. Families from both of these organizations have been hit extra hard with the current economic downturn and were in need of our support during the holiday session. Faculty, staff and students were able to get gifts for around 100 children, including everything from dolls to bikes, plus household items for 26 families.
