NAWMBA Pool Tournament

The Notre Dame chapter of the National Association of Women MBA’s (NAWMBA) held a pool tournament to benefit the Shideezhi Project, a national organization to help Navajo women pursue higher education and ultimately a better way of supporting themselves and their families.  The event was held at a local establishment called Corby’s, which is a favorite among Notre Dame students.  Corby’s donated the pool tables, DJ, and prizes.  Organized by both the 2011 and 2012 NAWMBA board members, 32 teams of two competed in the tournament, and almost 100 additional individuals attended the event and donated.  The event raised $1,000 for the Shideezhi Project.
