Mason Charity Golf Tournament
submitted by Julie Hummel on May 4, 2012
On a beautiful day in April, over 100 golfers joined together to raise money for the Wounded Warriors Project. Wounded Warriors is a non-profit agency that provides assistance to seriously injured veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Since several of our students are veterans of these two wars, the MBAA thought it would be especially important to choose a charity that supports veterans. The Williamsburg community supported the event by sponsoring holes and providing food and beverage. MBA Students Robbie Talmadge and Alicia Burrows co-chaired this event.
