MBA Poker Tournament

The tournament was hosted at the Notre Dame Compton Ice Arena.  Online registration had been distributed three weeks prior to the event so a head count could be done ahead of time.  Set-up of the event occurred an hour prior to the arrival of the players.  There was soda and water for sale at the event and the buy-in for each player was $25.  Eight tables were set up at the beginning of the event, each with a student dealer who had volunteered to work the event.  As people were eliminated from the event the tables were reduced until the final table was produced around 10:30.  The remaining players played until 11:30 pm, at which point a chip count was done to see who came in first, second, and third.
