Abhyudaya as “growing together for welfare and development of all” has
its origin from one of the most profound aphoromisms - 'be a contributor in
preference to being a consumer'. This one year program for PGDM participants at SPJIMR aims at
bringing about holistic development of the under-privileged children dwelling
in slums and mostly studying in Government Schools by using education as an
enabler. The project is concerned
about the contributions of prospective MBA students to an organization, an
industry and society in general rather than focus on what they get from an
organization or a society. Through this project, SPJIMR hopes MBA participants
will experience the joy of giving to society and continue this process of
contribution.
